Want to make your own song? Download the individual tracks of Make Your Own Song from the Make Your Own Song page. Mix it any way you like and email it to Cubby Control Records (cubconrex at gmail dot com) when you’re finished. Once you do that it will be posted to the Mixes page.
Make Your Own Song is an ongoing project initiated by The Cubby Creatures, and continued presently by Cubby Control Records. The original concept began when the Cubby Creatures wrote a song and then thought they’d encourage their fans to write lyrics for the song and then sing the song when the Cubby Creatures played a show. Then the idea struck the Cubbies that they could also give the original individual recorded tracks of the song to anyone who wanted to create their own mix. Those mixes can be heard on the Mixes page. With the Cubby Creatures no longer rehearsing music as a band or playing live shows, Cubby Control Records has taken the reins on the project.
