A Very Cubby Christmas was The Cubby Creatures' first official release. It was produced and distributed via tape cassette in December, 1997. Brian and jol hand-delivered the cassette on Christmas Eve to all their friends who were still in town. The songs featured on A Very Cubby Christmas include the first performance by Cubby Crooner Andren White, the only time the Cubby Children's Christmas Choir would appear, and Cubby Scrivener Charlie Danger as Evil Santa.
