REPTIEL's Audio Vérité Series is a vehicle for the band's spontaneously produced music recorded initially at their rehearsal space which is sometimes run through effects, looped, and/or overdubbed, or not. Jun. 24, 2013: Cubby Control Records releases announces the release of Myzel by Gnom i Snegovik, marking the first time Cubby Control Records has released music by a group based outside of San Francisco. Hailing from St. Petersburg, Russia, Gnom i Snegovik creates improvisational experimental sounds that are at once hypnotic, intriguing, pleasing, and unsettling.

Apr. 21, 2013: Listen to REPTIEL perform live on KALX. This week's "Sound of CCR" is "REPTIEL Live on KALX," recorded Feb. 16, 2013 on KALX 90.7 FM in Berkeley, and includes a performance of the entirety of their new album Violent Sagas of the Ancients.
Mar. 19, 2013: REPTIEL presents Violent Sagas of the Ancients, their new mini-album epic of conflagration, conjuration, and invocation spanning the ages. Out now on Cubby Control Records, Violent Sagas of the Ancients is REPTIEL's sophomore effort, building on and expanding the Indie Psych Prog Rock of its predecessor, the eponymous REPTIEL, which coincidentally was described by FLABmag as like "sailing across the high seas encountering adventures, but in a Viking’s ship."
Feb. 16, 2013: REPTIEL performs on KALX Live tonight, Feb. 16. Turn your dial to 90.7 FM, or stream live via the KALX Web site as REPTIEL performs songs from their forthcoming album Violent Sagas of the Ancients. The show starts at 9pm and will be followed by an interview with the band.
Jan. 21, 2013: Happy 2013, everyone, and Happy MLK Day! I direct your attention to the latest Sound of CCR, "Bee Swarm Houses" another contribution from Cubby Control Records artist Alec Way (member of REPTIEL and The Cubby Preachers). Also, I'm excited to announce the addition of a new CCR artist to the roster: Gnom i Snegovik (from St. Petersburg, Russia!)
