The Elven Souls of the Forest Knolls

The euphoria has subsided, the sprite has disappeared, and as Forest Boy wanders through this area of the Hobbitozz, things become even stranger
than before. He realizes the small hills, or knolls, that abound in this part of the forest are actually burial mounds of the ancient elves who
once lived here. He is treading on sacred ground and most likely is being allowed to travel through this sanctuary, while others would not be,
for the powers of the Elven souls are at their strongest here. Forest Boy can hear them singing and chanting nearby, in and out of sight. And
then they come together to sing to him about the Tree Of Life, that he must climb it to the top in order to gain a vantage point from which, no
doubt, he will be able to see where is the sacred grove of the Druid of the Wood, the culmination of his journey.
Legend has it that the Elves of the Forest Knolls learned how to traverse spacetime and traveled to a planet called
Progkp.
The Elves left Hobbitozz because they could sense it was dying, transforming in a way that would not allow them to continue living there. They
knew that if they did not leave, they would only survive for a few more generations. It was via their travels through space and time that the
Elves learned the cause of the decline of their home planet, which was that the Druid of the Wood, who gives life to the forested planet, had
begun to fail in his efforts to sustain the wooded world.
As the Elves migrated to the planet of Progkp, they discovered that the Druid was also traveling through spacetime, his spirit taken from his
body and ushered to different worlds in the Hobbitozz Universe, and that this was a requirement of being the Druid of the Wood. Each journey to
a new world is a series of spiritual/mental tests the Druid must pass. Each trial he perseveres fortifies his mind so that he can continue to
give life to the planet, which takes great strength of mind. If he were to fail just one of these tests, it could begin a chain reaction in his
mind, sending him into a downward spiral of doubt, dismay, and decay, resulting in the decline of Hobbitozz. And, indeed, this came to pass.
The only remedy would be to find a replacement for the Druid.
Loving their home world of Hobbitozz, not wanting to see it die, and hoping they might one day return, the Elves buried their dead, but cast a
powerful spell so that the spirits of their dead would not rest until a replacement for the Druid could be found. Ages would pass before the
spirits would discover Forest Boy and lead him to his destiny. Sadly the Elves would never return to Hobbitozz, unable to survive on their
adopted planet of Progkp, another dying world it turned out to be.
The forest was a magical place, yo
yeah, yeah
The forest was a magical place, yo
yeah, yeah
We gathered together
once again
familiar lands forever
up ahead
once again
once again
Elven Souls of Forest Knolls
once again
The Tree of Life
is grand and tall
The Tree of Life
Don't matter at all
Climb this tree
up to the top
Climb this tree
Don't even stop
Way up high
on top this tree
way up high
There'll you see
The sky and leaves
don't ever end
The sky and leaves
forever then
The Tree of Life
is grand and tall
The Tree of Life
Don't matter at all
Climb this tree
up to the top
Climb this tree
Don't even stop
